About Berean Baptist Church
Berean Baptist Church stands without apology for "the faith once delivered unto the saints." (Jude 3) We are an old-fashioned Baptist church. We fundamentally believe in the truths God has revealed to us in the Bible. Therefore, our church beliefs are based on what the Bible says. We believe:
- The Holy Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. We use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible.
- That Jesus Christ is the only answer for the sin problem of this world. (John 1:29)
- Our soul’s salvation is attained only by grace through faith on the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ—by His death, burial, and resurrection. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- That Jesus will return as “a thief in the night” to catch away those who are saved. (I Thessalonians 4:13-17)
- In the “Imminent” return of Jesus and that men should be ready to meet Him lest they be caught unaware. (Matthew 24:42-43)
- In the Evangelistic, Missionary, Pre-Millennial truth of the Scripture (Acts 1:8).
- That Heaven awaits every believer and the eternal, never-ending “Lake of Fire” awaits every unbeliever.
