Missionary Biographies
Mario Monette
Pastor Mario Monette was sent to plant the South Metropolitan Bible Baptist
church of St-Hubert, Quebec Canada in 1982 by Bible Baptist Church,
Sherbrooke, Quebec Canada. Pastor Monette was trained at his home church
under Pastor R.L. Stevens and is known as an excellent student of God’s Word..
The Lord has been using Pastor Monette in a great way in St-Hubert as well as around the globe and has undertaken several missions trips to places like the Philippines, Hungary, and India to encourage national preachers and churches.
Pastor Monette is married to Carole and they have 8 children.
Stanley Rowe - Papua New Guinea
Stan Rowe and his wife, Tresa and their family are missionaries to the field
of Papua New Guinea. Their sending church is Eastland Baptist Church in
Tulsa, OK, Pastor Troy Dorrell. They have been serving Christ in Papua New
Guinea since 1998.
Some of the ministries that they were involved in while previously in PNG are:
- Birip Baptist Church
- Bible Institute & Training seminars
- Christian School & Literacy classes
- Revival Meetings & Camps
- New Buildings & Property
- Market preaching
Their primary goals upon their return to PNG are to Win Souls, to Preach and Teach, to Baptize those that are saved, to Plant Churches, and to Train and Assist National Pastors.
The Rowes have five children: Amanda 12, Christopher 10, Naomi 9, Norman 5, and Aaron 3.
Monte Barlow - Slovenia
Monte and Krista Barlow are from Bible Baptist Church, Stillwater, OK. Bro.
Barlow is a 2001 graduate of Heartland Baptist Bible College.
The Barlows served a foreign internship from 2001-2003 on the mission field of Brazil with Tom and Cindy Brewer.
Their vision in Slovenia is to Preach the Gospel, See people saved, Baptize converts, Establish indigenous Baptist churches, Train nationals for the gospel ministry, and then to repeat that same process in another location. They desire is to plant at least one church in each of Slovenia’s 12 regions before God calls them home.
Monte and Krista have four children: Chelsea 17, Nicholas 14, Micah 10, and Philip 4.
